What does USMLE tutoring include?

A one-on-one session with an expert tutor that is tailored to your needs. It can include a personalized timeline and study plan, study and test-taking strategies, subject-specific tutoring for any USMLE-related topics, or any questions you have about the USMLE exams.

Where do sessions take place?

All tutoring is done one-on-one via online platforms (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, etc). This allows the most convenience for both the tutor and the student. Students have limited time, and this eliminates the need to travel.

What is the refund policy?

We offer a 100% money back guarantee on all our USMLE Tutoring packages. If you are not satisfied with your advisor or the session after the first hour you can either request a new advisor or request a refund and we will refund your money no questions asked. If more than one session is completed, refunds will not be issued. If you are not satisfied with your tutor, please reach out to us at info@thematchguy.com

Do you offer more than one hour of USMLE tutoring?

Yes, we offer as many hours as you need. You can buy the packages in increments of 1, 10, 20 or 50 hours. Please reach out to us at info@thematchguy.com if you are interested in creating a custom package.

Do you offer tutoring for all USMLE exams?

Yes, we offer tutoring for USMLE STEP1, STEP 2CK, and STEP 3 including both the MCQs and CCS questions.

Do you have a schedule or lesson plan?

Our experience has shown that students have a difficult time identifying their own greatest weaknesses. Addressing them and improving is even more challenging. What is the best time to start USMLE tutoring?

We advise to start as early as you can. When you start early, you will have more time to not only develop your fundamental knowledge, but also to apply it as you build your analytical skills. This provides greater perspective and understanding of how your classroom lectures and exams will ultimately be tested on the USMLE exams, thus maximizing your preparation as you progress through medical school.
